Five Gold Rings

I saw the Barclays at the De Montfort Hall in Leicester, pre-Glasnost days and back when they were dismissed as ‘poor man’s Moody Blues’.

We were going to be late for the concert, and our designated driver decided that simply wasn’t going to happen, so put his foot down and kept it down. We jumped red lights and a couple of times went up on the pavement to pass traffic that wasn’t moving. Years later he died in an RTA.
