Pete’s Favourite Horror Stories of 2012 – Part One

It occurred to me that it might be fun to compile an ongoing Top Twenty of my favourite horror stories of 2012, along similar lines to yesterday’s favourite books selection.

Unfortunately although I’ve read something like 150-200 short stories so far this year, I’m so far behind with my reading that very few of them have actually been published in 2012. In fact so few that I can’t make a Top Twenty and everything I’ve read is on the list, so aside from my highly subjective placings it’s all pretty much meaningless.

But, it’s a bit of fun, ain’t it? Besides, I have to fill the emptiness of my existence by blogging about something and this is as good a subject matter as any other.

So, cue the drum roll and twenty one gun salute – mesdames et messieurs, Pete’s Favourite Horror Stories of the Year So Far:-
