Back on the 11th of October last year I listed my favourite stories of 2012, and three months later, give or take the odd day, I’ve read a lot more stories, so it’s time to update that list.
Although I’ve read a lot of short stories in 2012, by my count only 189 of them had a 2012 publication date (excluding any stories published by TTA Press).
Looking at the books I still have in the TBR pile, I reckon I’ll still be reading 2012 stories through until the end of this year at least, so I’ll keep on updating the list as that happens, and may start a new one for my favourite stories of 2013.
The twenty titles listed below are my personal favourites out of what I’ve read so far with a publication date of 2012, and in the order in which I preferred them when writing the list about ten minutes ago.
